Our mission is to protect and preserve the unique marine biodiversity that graces the waters of our breathtaking archipelagos. Our Mission
At the core of the Ocean Guardians Program is a commitment to the conservation of French Polynesia's endangered marine species.
We focus on two primary pillars:
Medical Care for Marine Species.
Our dedicated team of trained volunteers spans across the five archipelagos, ready to respond to marine species in need of medical attention. From sea turtles to majestic rays, our Ocean Guardians are on the frontline, ensuring that every creature in our waters receives the care it deserves.
Community Education and Awareness.
We believe that true conservation begins with education. Through workshops, awareness campaigns, and community outreach programs, we strive to foster a deep understanding of marine biodiversity. By empowering our communities with knowledge, we aim to create a collective commitment to protect and respect the incredible diversity of life beneath the waves.
What we do.

Trained Ocean Guardians respond to distress calls and sightings of marine species requiring medical assistance.
In collaboration with marine biologists and veterinarians, we provide rehabilitation and medical care for injured or sick marine animals.
